The National Institute of Mental Health - A division of the National Institutes of Health, NIMH's site provides access to statistics, images, research fact sheets, breaking news, and information on clinical trials.

PubMed - PubMed is a service of the National Library of Medicine and provides access to over 11 million citations from MEDLINE and additional life science journals. PubMed includes links to many sites providing full text articles and other related resources.

Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration - SAMHSA is an agency of the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services. Their site offers information on the latest substance abuse prevention and treatment research, legislative issues, and mental health and substance abuse statistics. The site also offers links to the Centers for Mental Health Services, Substance Abuse Prevention, Substance Abuse Treatment, and the Office of Applied Studies.

Mental Health Net - This site offers comprehensive coverage on most mental health diagnoses and issues. It contains detailed information and links on common psychiatric disorders, and a glossary of mental health terms, symptoms listings, forums and the latest mental health news.

Internet Mental Health - This is another site that offers basic information about common psychiatric disorders and drugs, in addition to links to Web communities for Bipolar Disorder, Depression and Schizophrenia.
